I've ordered this product a month ago. I had mild acne, I've used a lot of Benzoyl Peroxide products etc persagel, Clearasil, etc. One day I saw a commerical for this Murad product, which looked too good to be true. I've ordered the product because the price was cheaper than some of the other products and it had "real people" saying the product worked. I did follow the instructions on the 3 products. Less than a week, my face broke out even more, I had some cystic acne which I never had before. It was astonishing, but the company said there was a "purging" state, which I held out hope that it would be a minor setback. 2 weeks later, again I started breaking out on both sides of my face and under my neck and chin area. I am so dumbfounded that this product said it would make a difference within a month. It's been 1 month and 3 weeks and I am so disappointed. I've stop using this product for the last 3 days and my skin is getting better and I've cancelled any future products from this company. DON'T RECOMMEND IT!

I have tried everything. And I mean everything. I even visted the Dermo every month. Thought I would give this a try. I could not believe it. My face was clear and has remained clear for a month now. I noticed a difference over night. I am 33 years old and could not believe I had acne to begin with. If you have acne problems you need to try this, IT DOES WORK.

Murad Acne Complex Kit is perfect for those that want to test out Murad acne products to be certain it is perfect for their skin type. Two months ago, I tried this kit due to my severe case of acne. I was unsure in the products and feared I would experience more breakouts and dry skin. Was I wrong. The products in this kit are so effective in clearing up blemishes and adding moisture to my face. These products don't sting when applied and feel so light on my face. These products have brought about positive changes in my skin and I will be buying the normal size bottles.

My cat isn't completely crazy about the taste of these, as he usually won't eat them right when I put them out (he always does, eventually, though). I love them because they are big enough that he actually has to chew them to be able to eat them, thus getting good use out of the "dental care" part of the treat. I suppose I don't know how well they actually work, but I do know that other brands of dental treats are much smaller and my cat will just swallow them. So, it just makes me feel like it is doing something, at least!

I'm 28 and have always had what I would call average skin, the kind that most women have. I have normal skin with a little more oiliness in the T-Zone and I get blackheads and the occasional breakout. I have tried all kinds of different product lines (Urban Defense, DDF, Dior, Philosphy, Bliss, etc.) and am the happiest with the results I get from Murad.
I have been using Murad for about 2 1/2 years now so I have tried a lot of the Murad products and found a routine that works great for me.

In the morning I use the AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser (love it! the gritiness gives you very smooth surface for applying makeup) then the Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel and the Skin Perfecting Lotion which I mix and apply together so that I don't use as much. Last I put on my Moisture Silk Eye Gel and I'm ready to go.

At night I use the Clarifying Cleanser followed by the Clarifying Toner, the Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel, the Perfecting Lotion and the best product of all the Night Reform Treatment (see my review of that product for details, I love it!) and again I use the Moisture Silk Eye Gel.

Once a week I throw in the Exfoliating Fruit Enzyme Mask and I have perfect skin if I stick to the program everyday. My skin looks and feels better than it ever has and people always guess my age to be around 23 so it must be doing something right!

Top 5 Favorite Murad Products:
1. Soothing Lip Therapy
2. Night Reform Treatment
3. Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel
4. AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser
5. Clarifying Cleanser

Murad Products that I don't like:
1. Day Reform Treatment (too greasy and I hate the smell)
2. Purifying Face Scrub
3. The products for combination skin - they are ok but the acne line is so mild that people with combination skin will see better results using it. (I have used both product lines)

I have had acne for 30 (yes, 30) years. I had some success with topical antibiotics in my 20s, but I started breaking out with a vengence when I hit my 40s. All of the products I got from my dermatologist either irritated my skin or gave me an allergic reaction. I also started to get red, scaly patches on my cheeks-- two dermatologists said, "I don't know what that is." In desperation, I bought the Murad acne kit. My skin felt noticeably softer after one application. By day FIVE my skin was perfectly clear AND the red scaly patches were GONE. I've been using the products for months and I have never broken out again!! They have been a miracle for me. I look in the mirror and I can't believe it is my skin!

The only caveat is that the products burned a little the first few days. Be sure to use the moisturizer, and perhaps only apply the products once/day in the beginning.

I was diagnosed with RA recently after suffering with its symptoms for probably 8 years. I knew nothing about Rheumatoid Arthritis before this and never even considered it a cause of my pains. I am currently under the care of a Rheumatologist at the Hosiptal for Special Surgery. This book has been a tremdous help in conjunction with my doctor in understanding the problem.
The book takes a very thorough look at the Rheumatoid Arthritis - diagnosing it, what kind of questions to ask, causes, treatments, therapy, useful outside resources, and examples of others with RA.
A very helpful book.

I had used another Neutrogena acne product under the oil-free label. It took away the oil but left my face sore and red, sometimes for hours. This "Redness Soothing" product really works. It stings a little when put on, but after it's washed off, it has a cool feeling due to the aloe and there is no redness. I'm so much happier. If you're having problems with redness and pain, this will really help you!!

I received this in the mail today and put it on my crib mattress. It's a thick plastic bag that you insert the mattress into through a lengthways slit and then peel off the backing on the sticky ends to seal it up, like packing material from the post office. The lengthways slit does not seal, but that side does face down. It then recommends that you put a 100% cotton blanket on top of it, and a fitted crib sheet on top of that. I followed those instructions to a tee. What I noticed the entire time during this process was how completely LOUD this plastic is!

I had my 4-year-old son come and lay down on top of the plastic/blanket/fitted sheet layer and roll around. It sounded like he was laying on top of the protective plastic the crib mattress came in from the store, as though I hadn't taken that plastic off. It was almost the same thickness, same material... I might as well just have left the plastic on it from the store, taken off the barcode/price tag sticker and called it a day. I sure would have saved myself $35! Keeping this on would mean that my baby would wake herself up every time she turned over and the baby monitor would be going wild all night. How annoying to listen to that while I try to sleep!

Now I am going back in search of the thin soft vinyl waterproof cover with a zipper that I had on this crib mattress when it was my son's. That never made any noise, was soft, and wiped right up when he had an accident. I ordered this due to the anti-SIDS excitement written all over it, but no one would ever get any sleep in this house.

Save yourself the money and either leave the plastic on it from the store (joke, don't do that), or go in search of a soft vinyl waterproof cover.
